Xarissa Holdaway
ClimateEdu Managing Editor
Xarissa writes articles, blogs and e-newsletters for the campus team, focusing on energy, land use, construction, agriculture and sustainability issues at colleges and universities. Before coming to NWF, she was doing editorial work at an architecture magazine, where she spent her time filling the pages with as many reclaimed, recycled and sustainable items as her publisher would allow. She has an English degree from Brigham Young University, where she also worked as a peer mentor for incoming freshmen and assisted the study abroad office. At last count, Xarissa has lived in 8 states and 4 countries, and comes by her interest in sustainability issues by way of the inimitable French pastry.

Xarissa can be reached here for story ideas, comments and questions.
